The week before your race, fully planned.
Race week is where it all comes together: taper, carb loading, travel, packet pickup, your crew. Dolichos lays that week out in three views — race week, the night before, race day — and calculates everything that can be calculated. You always see what is due today and what is still missing.

A countdown with a readiness check
At the top: how many days to go. Below: every day of the week. The readiness check looks for gaps in your plan — is your crew invited? Do they have tasks? Is your pacing plan set? Whatever is missing is one tap away.
- Day cards from Monday to race day, with your own items
- Template per distance: rest day, last short effort, shakeout, bag packing
- Packet pickup and expo as fixed appointments
- Carb loading shows up on the right days automatically
Alarm, evening plan and packing list
Your alarm follows from your race morning: start time, travel to the start, breakfast. You only pick how long you want to sleep; Dolichos sets lights-out and plans the evening backwards. The packing list is built from your distance and your fueling plan, down to the number of gels.
- 7 to 9 hours of sleep, alarm and lights-out set instantly
- Evening: last big meal, lay out your kit, fill bottles, phone away
- Daylight saving changes counted in real hours
- Packing list with bib, timing chip, gels and, for triathlon, wetsuit, helmet and transition bags
- Crew briefing to share: who stands where, and when

Hotel departure, to the minute
Add your hotel and Dolichos works out the travel time to the start on foot, by bike, car or public transit. Race day then shows when to leave, when you arrive at the start and when the gun goes, all in the race time zone. "Route to start" opens your phone's navigation.
- Hotel, expo and other places with address and map
- Choose your arrival buffer before the start
- All times in the race location time zone, even when you travel
- Performance planning and logistics on one screen

Frequently asked questions
What should I do in the week before a marathon?
Cut volume but keep a few short efforts, raise carbs two to three days out, sleep well and sort out logistics like packet pickup and travel early. Dolichos gives you a template with a rest day, a last short effort, a shakeout and bag packing.
What time should I wake up on race day?
Usually three to four hours before the start so breakfast is digested. Dolichos works out your alarm from your race-morning timeline and travel to the start, and sets lights-out to match the sleep you want.
What goes on a race-day packing list?
Bib and pins, timing chip, shoes, watch, your fuel and a finish-line bag. For triathlon add wetsuit, goggles, helmet, bike shoes and your transition items. Dolichos builds the list from your distance and fueling plan.
Does it work for races in another time zone?
Yes. All times are shown in the race location time zone, and daylight saving changes are counted in real hours.
Can my crew see the plan?
Yes. Your crew sees race week, the night before and race day, and confirms their own assignments there.
